In rhyming text, a group of happy green peas celebrates the special holidays of each month, and the passing seasons.

Mr. and Mrs. Green, a loving alligator couple, try their hand at participating in the town talent show. Mr. Green is a singing sensation in the shower at home. In the talent show he cannot sing a note until Mrs. Green comes up with a splashing idea.

When a tiger suspects he is the beast the jungle animals are fleeing from, he returns to them and points out their similarities.

Players assume control of the fate of an eccentric family of misfits and misanthropes. The goal of the game is for players' characters to suffer the greatest tragedies possible before dying. Game ends when an entire family is eliminated. Players total Pathos points on each character's Character cards, adding to get total Family Value ; player with lowest total Family Value wins.
