Brooklyn-born Isaac Mizrahi has long been a fashion star. From the moment his first collection was snapped up by Bergdorf Goodman in 1986, he made his name with his signature use of color and wit. His high-energy fashion shows often revealed the magic behind the scenes, and Hollywood glamour always influenced him. In 2003, Mizrahi changed the face of fashion when he became the first high-end designer to create a signature line for a mass market retailer, with his mega-successful line at Target. His mix of accessible fashion with couture is his trademark.
