Description
A classic detective thriller, Quai des Orfevres centres on the efforts of Inspector Antoine (Jouvet) and his investigation into the murder of an elderly businessman. An early, more traditional work from Clouzot, who would later direct *Wages of Fear*, but shot through with his characteristically dark sense of humor.
