Description
Although women are playing an increasingly important economic role in their families, communities and society and often carry the burden of economic and reproductive labor, they are less likely than men to take time off, and their health and well-being is suffering as a consequence. This talk with Executive Director of National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health Jessica González-Rojas provides: * Information regarding time off for the average woman worker in the United States * Recommended ways to maximize time off for self-care * Shared personal experience and learnings from my own process of taking a 3-month sabbatical This talk is facilitated by Berrett-Koehler Publisher and President Johanna Vondeling as part of the Women's Leadership Online Summit produced by Berrett-Koehler Publishers.
