Published Reviews

Horn Book Review

Crowded double-page spreads cover the basics about dinosaurs, including different types (e.g., meat eaters, giants, crested dinosaurs), defenses, "calls and colors," and care of young. Second and third graders will find the sound-bite information interesting and the diorama-like digital illustrations lively. A gimmicky "Choose your own journey" feature complicates things unnecessarily. Ind. Copyright 2010 of The Horn Book, Inc. All rights reserved.
