The fact is, they don't agree on much anymore, and at the start of this summer season they plan to tell their 12-year-old daughter, Maggie, that they're getting a divorce. But first Wendell doesn't show up for the ferry, and then he turns up dead. Riley discovers that Wendell drained all her family's bank accounts for some shady loans, and that's not all he cooked up with the attractive loan officer. As she tries to rebuild her life on Belle Isle, Riley also rekindles a flirtation with her long-ago flame, Nate, who's back for a fresh start.
