Added "The Honeymoon Crashers" at 8:56 PM, Sunday, Sept 10 2023, after checking approximately 12 hours earlier to see whether Christina Lauren had published any books after "Something Wilder." This book is a sequal to "The Unhoneymooers." It's available only as an audiobook; however, I'm also putting it on the "Check for Ebook" list, b/c that's the list I consult most often.

Added at 11:20 AM (give or take a minute or two) on Mon June 12 2023. Here's how I found it: I was downloading a Library ebook--"The Matchmaker's Gift"--and at the bottom of the page, this book, "Remarkably Bright Creatures," was shown as one I might like. The book is popular: it's fully checked out in all formats. Because the Library shows it as being on the NYT audiobook list, I gather that it's well done in that mode. So I am also putting it on my Audiobooks list.

Added The Agathas by Glasgow at 7:57 PM, after seeing book mentioned around 8 hours ago in an email from East Side Bookshop on Sat May 27, 2023, at 9:59 AM, touting it as a good audio book. And I listened to about 4 minutes of the audio on line, and the reader I heard is terrific. Here's a small part of what East City Bookshop said in its email: "The Agathas, Kathleen Glasgow and Liz Lawson [the two authors], narrated by Mehr Dudeja, Sophie Amoss, and Holly Linneman."

Added at 10:00 AM, W Feb 1 2023, after seeing it around an hour or so ago on the Library's website. I then checked Lit Hub and saw that the book had received 8 raves and 1 positive; wow! Book was published on the Ides of March 2022 (March 15 2022). I'm adding this to two lists: E-Books to Read and Audiobooks. Right now the ebook is checked out (3 copies, 1 person on waiting list), but neither the book nor the audiobook is. The author, Erika Krouse, does NOT narrate the audiobook.

Added at 11:49, Sun, Jan 1, 2023. Non-fiction. Stephanie Foo, the author, narrates the audiobook herself. I've also put the ebooks on the appropriate list. I found it b/c it was #8 on Linda Holmes's Dec. 27, 2022 article, "50 Wonderful Things from 2022." https://www.npr.org/2022/12/27/1145225939/50-wonderful-things-from-2022. I found a link to that article here: https://www.npr.org/2019/08/21/752811433/this-way-up-deserves-a-spot-on-your-crowded-viewing-list, but I have no idea how or why I navigated to "This Way Up." Ah, I looked up the "This Way Up" article, because the link to it was provided in a comment to this Dec 30, 2022 Washington Post article, "10 hidden TV gems you may have missed (or forgotten about) in 2022." https://www.washingtonpost.com/arts-entertainment/2022/12/30/tv-shows-you-missed-2022/

Added R Sept 30 2021, after seeing book listed as similar to a John Grisham novel (A Time to Kill??). This is the first of a 23-book series, starring Andy Carpenter. Lots of doggies in the series!

Added R Sept 2 2021, after seeing on W Sept 1 2021 on Lit Hub list of 22 books to read Fall 2022, which included a new book by Ruth Ozeki. It sounded good, unlike many others on the list, so I thought I'd add her older books to my library lists. SHOULD ALSO CHECK THIS OUT IN HARD COPY.

Added early AM Sun Jan 31 2021. Am reading Camino Winds as an ebook and went on Amazon to re-checkout Camino Island to check something about the plot. Looked at Grisham's other books, including The Rooster Bar, and and saw that the audiobook version was read by Ari Fliakos, who is excellent. So then went looking on the library site for other books that Flakos has read, and found this. Will put both the ebook and audiobook versions on my lists, as well as the second book in the series. [Added this also on Sun Jan 31 2021: Have had audiobook of sequel on my lists since Jan 30? 2020! Don't know who the reader is, but evidently, it's a prequel, not a sequel. And evidently library has the prequel only in audio book format.]

It says the following: "Escape into the whimsical love story about a singleton who leaves for a writing retreat and falls in love with a man who, when they get back to reality, seems less than perfect." Who could resist?
