Similar Series From Novelist

NoveList provides detailed suggestions for series you might like if you enjoyed this book. Suggestions are based on recommendations from librarians and other contributors.
Siblings and cousins spend their free time as amateur detectives to solve local mysteries in these engaging series. Later entries in the Boxcar series focus on the themes that carry throughout Muskrats -- family history, environmentalism, and social justice. -- Sarah Bean Thompson
Likeable tweens solve a variety of twisty mysteries in these plot-driven mystery series. Kid Caramel is more suspenseful, while Boxcar Children focuses more on family relationships. -- Stephen Ashley
Lark Ba's spirited character duo and the feel-good mood of the Boxcar Children keep these mystery series lighthearted as siblings team up to do some sleuthing for the benefit of other family members, friends, and community. -- Basia Wilson
Though the Boxcar Children stars a squad of four siblings and Wednesday prefers a single canine companion, these likeable tweens take on a bevy of cases in these feel-good mystery series. -- Stephen Ashley
Charismatic kids uncover mysteries with their families in each of these series. With eccentric characters and their goofy antics, the intricately plotted Swifts is a more humorous series than the plot-driven Boxcar Children books. -- Basia Wilson
Though readers will find a bit more humor in Hannah Sharpe than the more cozy and feel-good Boxcar Children, both mystery series star curious and keen-eyed tweens who crack a variety of intriguing cases. -- Stephen Ashley
Tweens (siblings in Boxcar Children and classmates in West Meadows Detectives) get to the bottom of lots of different cases in these engaging mystery series. West Meadows Detectives is funnier than the more cozy and feel-good Boxcar Children. -- Stephen Ashley
With a vintage feel (Boxcar Children was first published in the 1940s and Goldie Vance is set in the 1960s), both of these compelling mystery series follow likeable tweens who stumble upon intriguing cases throughout their everyday lives. -- Stephen Ashley
These series have the genre "mysteries"; and the subjects "child detectives," "orphans," and "siblings."
