Description
An exposé of a series of momentous and unsolvable environmental and social problems of capitalism. The author argues that capitalism is no longer a viable system and argues that certain problems are intrinsic to its structures and connot be reformed. Mander elaborates on corporate capitalism's passion to dominate and undermine democracy as well as to profoundly diminish social and economic equity. As a system with only one central goal...profit and the accumulation of wealth, it is distinctly amoral and actively promotes "permanent war" as a key economic strategy.
