Description
The Selfish Giant relates the tale of a formidable giant who frightens children away from his garden only for it to wither in a never-ending winter. When the children come back, the giant becomes of a different mind. The Star-Child is found in a field one day, thought to be left by a star. But he lets his uniqueness and fair looks fill him with vanity, cruelty and haughtiness until he meets a beggarwoman that he laughs and casts stones at.
