Description
Ever since Roundworld (aka, the earth) sprang up in a magical experiment gone wrong, the wizards of Unseen University have done their best to look after their creation. But the planet seems to have gone down the wrong leg of the Trousers of time. When the Reverend Charles Darwin's Theology of Species popularizes his theory of divine design, Victorian England guilelessly embraces it and the progress of science slows to a crawl. Unless the wizards intervene to set things back on their course, the human technomancers will have no chance of inventing the space elevator in time to escape the Big Freeze.
