Clara Guevara, a ten-year-old girl, has just been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. "Not fair!" Clara protests since she'll have to permanently take care of herself in order to have a healthy life. But naughty and interfering Glugar Sugar-Clara's diabetes, as she calls it-has decided that they both should be good friends so that they can enjoy many interesting and fun adventures together. Could that be possible?
