A Million Suns tells the story of Catherine Blair, an enigmatic seven-year-old who was thrust into the world of childhood cancer. Through messages written during the days and nights of their daughter's battle, Tom and Ellen Blair sought to capture the mysterious ways of a little girl who was at once shy and feisty, loving and demanding, private and creative. Catherine's spirit was too big to be captured. Their messages, however, provide glimpses of an unforgettable girl who created beauty in the darkest of times and fought with every breath to live life on no terms but her own.
