SAMPLE TEXT: Rabbit stood at Robot's front door. Robot does not know that I am here, said Rabbit. I will surprise him! Rabbit rang the doorbell. Ding dong! Robot opened the door. Surprise! yelled Rabbit. Hello Rabbit, said Robot. I was not expecting you. Were you surprised? asked Rabbit. Yes, answered Robot. Please come in. Thanks, said Rabbit. What's up? I am playing checkers, said Robot. I love checkers, said Rabbit. Let's play! Um, said Robot. I am aleady engrossed in a game...Engrossed? said Rabbit. Gross! I will say that in a different way, said Robot. I am very interested in a game already. He pointed to a small frog sitting next to the checkerboard. Rabbit, this is Ribbit. Ribbit, said Ribbit.
Description
Rabbit is excited. He is going to surprise his good friend Robot at home. DING DONG! When Robot opens the door, he is surprised. He wasn't expecting Rabbit. In fact, he is already engrossed in a game of checkers with another friend, Ribbit. Now Rabbit is the one who is surprised, and a bit jealous. While Robot thinks everything Ribbit says is humorous, all Rabbit hears is "ribbit." And Ribbit eats flies with her popcorn. Gross! When Rabbit and Ribbit get mad because they both want to be Cowboy Jack Rabbit, Robot's Emotion Decoder overheats, leaving him out of commission. Can Rabbit and Ribbit find a way to work together to revive their friend? New readers will find plenty to chuckle over as Robot's two friends become friends themselves. -- amazon.com
