Description
After the death of his mother, Daniel Sempere finds solace in very few things. There is one book, however, that brings him comfort. It is called The Shadow of the Wind and is written by an author named Julian Carax. When Daniel begins to search for other books by Carak, he discovers, to his horror, that someone has been systematically destroying all of Carax's works.
