Description
"Through a glass darkly": A gloomy look at God and love through the eyes of a tormented family who search for God in a time of crisis. Plot centers around the mental illness suffered by the daughter, Karin. The first of a trilogy of films which explored man's relationship with God as Ingmar Bergman saw it. "Winter light": the second of a trilogy of films explores a tormented, widowed pastor who finds one winter day that he no longer has faith in God. "The silence": goes to the inner world of two sisters, emotionally distant from each other, and a small boy. "Ingmar Bergman makes a movie": this documentary film offers views on set construction and lighting, rehearsals and editing, as well as intimate conversations with Bergman and members of his cast and crew.
