Description
Caroline Dreyfous, daughter of Felix and Julia Dreyfous married Leon Weiss (died 1953), son of Theordore Weiss and Lena Silverstein. Lena was the daughter of Lazarus and Sarah Silverstein. Theodore was born in Ingwiller, Alsace, and left there with his parents, Solomon and Adelle, to settle in Louisiana. Felix Dreyfous was the son of Abel Dreyfous and Caroline Kaufman. Abel (died 1892) was born in Belfort, Alsace, son of Emanuel and Rose Dreyfous. He immigrated to Louisiana and married Caroline Kaufman in 1850.
