Horn Book Review

This book, well organized by type of habitat (desert, polar, etc.), introduces animals from all over the world. The easy-to-follow text consists of somewhat random facts about the creatures; the real stars of the show are the many vivid nature photographs. "Parent Tips" and an "Animal Map" are appended to further engage young children in exploration of animal-related learning. Glos., ind. (c) Copyright 2011.
