La historia del tarot es profundamente desconocida. Si bien muchos libros abordan su práctica o sus significados, las escasas publicaciones históricas existentes no suelen conocerse fuera de los círculos especializados. Isabelle Nadolny lo remedia proponiendo al gran público un amplio recorrido por el tarot a través de los siglos. The history of the tarot is deeply unknown. Although many books address its practice or its meanings, the few existing historical publications are often not known outside of specialized circles. Among other discoveries, the author reveals in this beautiful book the oldest tarot prints and their interpretations. Rescued from the beginnings of cartomancy, Nadolny reveals some writings that have never been disclosed before. An historian by training, specializing in the history of ancient books, Isabelle Nadolny works at the National Library of France, from where she has obtained the essential information and documents that have fed her research. At the same time, she is a tarotologist, actress and storyteller. She has developed numerous activities such as workshops and lectures on the history of the tarot, as well as theater and story shows.
