Description
The Albert E. Dye collection consists of a small amount of material retrieved from 6036 Munson Hill Rd., Arlington, Virginia, the former residence of A.J. Dye. The relationship between A.J. Dye and Albert E. Dye could not be determined. Albert E. Dye was a member of the Columbia Lodge No. 285, ancient free and accepted Masons. He died on August 19, 1959. The only material that appears to directly relate to Albert E. Dye is that concerning the Columbia Investment Corporation. This corporation consisted of Arlington businessmen who maintained joint ownership for the Columbia School property. Albert Dye served as treasurer. These materials consist of fiscal reports including expenditures, profit distribution, and profit and loss summaries. The remainder of the material in this collection does not have an obvious connection to the Dye family.
