Description
PG 400 contains appraisal photographs taken for the Virginia Department of Highways in July 1958. The photographs were part of the Departmentof Highways' real estate appraisal process used for the valuation of the Washington and Old Dominion right-of-way prior to the construction of Interstate 66. The images depict views of the tracks and the land parcels along the tracks. PG 400 also contains a report and map detailing the boundaries and fair market value for each parcel of land. The photographs, report, and map, are valuable for identifying buildings and documenting growth and development along the track line.
Cumulative Index/Finding Aids
