The collection came to the archives in scrapbook form. For preservation purposes, the scrapbook was dismantled and the material placed in folders. The original order of the scrapbook was maintained.

The collection consists of one scrapbook that documents Stellae activities from 1962 until 1969. The material includes letters of appreciation for Stellae's charitable work, photographs of various activities including the initiation slumber party for new members, newspaper clippings about events such as the crowning of the King and Queen at the Sweethearts Dance, membership lists, and a sample membership application.

Yorktown High School service club, Stellae TRI-HI-Y had as its mission, to " . . . create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, school, and community high standards of Christian character. " Stellae members accomplished this mission by participating in numerous school activities and community organizations. At school, Stellae assisted with decoration for class, Y-Council, and Student Council dances, sold programs during football games, and sponsored open houses after the games. The club's community activities included a clothing drive for people in Apalachia, a toy drive for the children at Arlington Hospital, and fundraisers for organizations such as the American Lung Association, the American Cancer Society, and the March of Dimes.
