Although mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters, Cinderella never gives in to hostility or revenge. Instead, this sweet heroine remains steadfast in her kind, gentle ways and eventually her virtue is rewarded when she meets and marries a prince with the help of her fairy godmother. Cinderella even forgives her stepsisters and finds suitable nobleman for them and they were very sorry for what they had done.
