RG 59 contains material Miller created or gathered as a member of different civic organizations and as a politician.
Biographical or Historical Data
Malcolm Miller, an active Arlingtonian, was involved with numerous civic organizations and various community issues. He served both as a delegate and vice president for the Arlington County Civic Federation. As a member of the organization, Citizen's Committee for School Improvement, Miller drafted the bill that called for the election of the members of the school board. He assisted as an advocate for the bill as it went before the State Legislature. In 1951, Miller launched an unsuccessful campaign for the position of Commonwealth Attorney for Arlington County.
