Description
John Paul Jones, a Scots immigrant with a fiery temper, arrived in America on the eve of the War for Independence. There was a desperate need of men to command the newly created navy who had no fear of engaging the enemy. John Paul Jones was their man. He sailed across the Atlantic Ocean and engaged the Royal Navy's Serapis in what would be the biggest naval battle of The American Revolution with victory.
