Description
Ben Heinrichs was working in a garage in his family's yard when a heater started a fire. He ran out and closed the door to keep the flames inside when he realized his dog, a German Shepherd named Buddy was inside. When he let him out he told him to go get help. When the dog disappeared into the woods he thought that maybe he was running to escape the danger, but he was not. He ran to the roadside where he found a state police officer who had been told of the fire but could not locate the property, but Buddy ran ahead of the police car and led him to the fire and the family home was kept safe. Ben learned what you will discover that the German Shepherd, bred and trained to herd sheep by a man named Max von Stephanitz is an extremely intelligent, hardworking and brave breed.
