A robot is a machine that performs tasks using computer programs for instructions. Some robots work in space. One type of space robot is called a rover which moves around on wheels and explores other planets. There are other spacecraft called probes which fly through space and orbiters which circle high above planets and moons. Other space robots fix spacecraft and deliver supplies to International Space Stations (ISS) which is a spacecraft where scientists live and work.
