History by the Block is an educational design seeking to strengthen the teaching of history in the Arlington Public Schools by focusing attention on the role of architecture and the design process in American social history. Lyon Park Citizens Association is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization established to promote the welfare and advancement of the Lyon Park community in particular and Arlington County in general. The Association seeks to represent the interests of the Lyon Park community at public hearings and meetings.
