The photographs housed in PG 800 are images depicting an Arlington tract of land known in 1923 as the Cruit Tract. Today the area is commonly referred to as Lyon Village. Most of the images date from July or August 1923 and were taken during a land survey of the Cruit Tract. In addition, there are four images of Lyonhurst, a large estate owned by Frank Lyon, the developer of Lyon Village.

This collection contains twenty-two images of houses in Ashton Heights, originally taken as color slides, but presented here in black and white prints. According to the photographer, the purpose of the project was to document these house for future historians. James Dacey was the photographer and he also processed and printed the images.
