Booklist Review

Just Grace's eighth adventure finds her excited about neighbor Augustine Dupre's upcoming wedding to Luke the UPS man. Grace is asked to participate (though not as flower girl), and in an effort to give the couple a special wedding present, she conspires to train Mrs. Luther's cat, Crinkles, to walk down the aisle. As always Grace's naive misunderstanding of adult interactions provides much humor, while Harper's cartoon-style spot illustrations add to the appeal, as do subplots concerning a school comics club, Mimi's little brother, and friendship issues. Great fun for fans of Barbara Park's Junie B. Jones or Sara Pennypacker's Clementine.--Weisman, Kay Copyright 2010 Booklist

Horn Book Review

Beloved neighbor Augustine Dupre is getting married, and readers will be as disappointed as Grace when she isn't chosen to be flower girl. Nevertheless, third-grader Grace finds an inventive, thoughtful way to make the wedding "one hundred times more special." Amusing cartoons accompany this eighth series installment, which is as creative and carefully constructed as Grace's wedding plan. (c) Copyright 2012.
