Description
Emma and her family are Christians and they are celebrating a very important holiday, called Easter. It is a day filled with food and fun, and going to church where they are reminded why they celebrate this day. It is celebrated in remembrance of Jesus Christ, whom Christians believe is God's son that he sent to save the world from their sin so that they can eventually live with Him. This is what Jesus preached about himself when he lived on earth, but some people didn't like this teaching and killed him, but three days after he was killed he arose from the dead and Easter is the day Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
